American Art Pottery: From the Collection of Everson Museum of Art
Published in Hardcover by Harry N Abrams (April, 1997)
Authors: Everson Museum of Art, Courtney Frisse, and Barbara A. Perry
Average review score:

Positively Gorgeous
The pottery pictured in this book is beautiful so the book is really nice eye candy, but there's more to it than that. The photography is the thing! I've never seen such beautiful photography of pottery in my life. All you potters out there, this is what your slides should look like! (Good luck.) A very lovely book of a great cross-section of American Art Pottery. Obviously, very inpirational and highly recommended.

American Medical Association Guide to Home Caregiving
Published in Unknown Binding by John Wiley & Sons (March, 2002)
Author: Angela Perry
Average review score:

Developing a Care Plan
My brother and I take care of my eighty-year-old mother. She has
diabetic neuropathy and can't walk. But she's a good kid and
we take care of her. This book has helped. Although the object of the book at first seems to be to develop a care plan; it really is a book of primary skills that you need in caregiving.
The book is best because you are not overwhelmed with 465 ways
to help your loved one. This is a primary and basic skills book.
Buy this book if you are new at caregiving and don't know where to start. Because the American Medical Associarion wrote it, I imagine that it would be good for all caregivers to buy it. I just love this book. It's like a Boy Scout manual. It's user-friendly for your brain. And sometimes simplicity can do more good that needless complications and theories. Thank you and I wish you luck.

The American Puritans
Published in Paperback by Columbia University Press (15 April, 1982)
Author: Perry Miller
Average review score:

The most influential colonial collection
Perry Miller -- who, regardless of what the credit on top says, was not the photographer in this pictureless collection, but the editor -- was the twentieth century's most towering colonial historian. Terrifying generation after generation of graduate students at Harvard, Miller was one of those people who knew absolutely everything about his subject: the American Puritans. A confirmed atheist, Miller spent his life exploring the lives of the most religious of all American groups. This anthology, which has been in print for the better part of half-a-century, is still the basic introduction to the subject in most schools. Taking excerpts on all the most important subjects, Miller introduces each with his own framework of ideas and connections; although the ellipses can come to annoy once you really get into the subject, there is still no good substitute for this collection. Indispensable to anybody wanting the primary texts of that most influential of all religious groups in America, the Puritans.

Authors: Norma Grusy Fisher, Rachel Knudson, and Judy Perry
Average review score:

Classroom gem!
Anna's Amazing Journey is the perfect companion to a study of geography in the 3rd-5th grade classroom. 2nd grade classrooms have also enjoyed this book after finishing a unit on writing their own books. The custom-made world map on the final page of Anna's Amazing Journey, really helps kids place the location of the countries they've just been introduced to in the story.

Anne Perry Presents Malice Domestic: An Anthology of Original Mystery Stories
Published in Audio Cassette by Dove Books Audio (February, 1999)
Authors: Anne Perry, Patrick MacNee, Juliet Mills, Judy Geeson, and Ann Perry
Average review score:

Malice Domestic 6: a lovingly-produced anthology
Malice Domestic 6 is a top-notch audio production. Its four cassettes contain a variety of mostly "cozy" mystery stories, though none are exceedingly neat or polite (you'll get lots of suspense and "edge"). The narrators are top-quality, as well, and perfectly matched with the stories they read aloud. Pleasant musical interludes between the stories allow the impact of a particular story to sink in before the next one begins. There are no "filler" stories and no lazy performances in this audio, which is clearly a labor of love on the part of its producers. Highly entertaining and highly recommended.

Anti-Semitism: Myth and Hate from Antiquity to the Present
Published in Hardcover by Palgrave Macmillan (01 December, 2002)
Authors: Marvin Perry and Frederick Schweitzer
Average review score:

An informative survey and analysis of anti-Semitic myths
Collaboratively researched and written by historian Marvin Perry and Frederick M. Schweitzer (Director of the Manhattan College Holocaust Resource Center), Antisemitism: Myth And Hate From Antiquity To The Present is an extensive and informative survey and analysis of anti-Semitic myths that have been perpetrated for generations, and which range from Biblical times down to the twentieth century and into the present day. Antisemitism reveals how these lies, exaggerations, untruths, and cultural myths about Jewish people have been used for centuries to justify and fuel unspeakable brutality and genocidal murder against an entire race and faith. A scholarly study of hate-based, mind-twisting perversions and lies from the fabricated stories of Jews ritually sacrificing Christian children to modern-day Holocaust denials, Antisemitism should be found upon the Judaic Studies shelves of every college and community library in the country.

Arf Angels and Other Heavenly Creatures: True Stories of Animal Visitations
Published in Paperback by 1stBooks Library (December, 2001)
Author: Anita Perry
Average review score:

Different from the rest.....
"Now that your loved one is gone, what'll you do?" I might suggest you first buy this book. When I lost my Bitsy, besides being devastated, I had burning questions - Where was she?, Was she safe?, Is she still around?, Will I see her again?, In this lifetime?, and the all-important, Why? My search has been ongoing for the past 3 years she's been gone. I have read nearly everything available written exclusively on the spirituality of animals and their afterlife as well as many books that may contain so much as a sentence in reference to their continued existence. When I discovered Anita Perry's Arf Angels and Other Heavenly Creatures I found a vein of gold in my mining expedition. While each of the stories offer the reader comfort in that we are not alone in our grief, (and in some cases in the decisions we've been forced to make), Ms. Perry gives us stories of purpose and hope. We are given the unique opportunity to look back on a life lived with purpose, give some meaning to the painful end process and banish some of our regrets. Each story relates to us how our individual lives are changed for having had our loved ones in them. The book takes for granted the grief is as real for our animal family as it is for anyone else. No words are wasted defending a position. For that I was refreshed and grateful. It's a matter of fact that animals come into our lives for a reason. It's a matter of fact that we usually survive them and have to come to terms with losing them. It's a matter of fact that our beloved family has an afterlife and find ways to let us know they are safe, that they still love us, and are around us even still. Reading these stories has given me comfort, hope, and peace. They will you, too. Now, Ms Perry, Will they come back?
